| While Team france won 2 out of its 3 matchs and had a place in quaterfinals, ECTFC admins eliminated the -f- by proving that a player, Cris, had cheated during a match.The decision dismayed -f- staff and all the players, but it was normal :-( <br>Anyway it's a sad ending for the Team after several weeks of work, and moreover it was the last ECTFC... <br>----------------- <br>Greetings: <br>- Firsly, I would like to thank the 2 other persons of -f- staff, Mick and Lestat, with whom it was a pleasure to work on this ECTFC. <br>- A big thanks to all players for enduring the late trainings. <br>- Thank you very much to all the people supportting us during our matchs and all the time. <br>- A big thanks to ECTFC admins for organizing this ECTFC. <br>- May be we'll see us again on Fortress Forever, the new Team Fortress Mod based on Half Life 2 :) <br> |

| After 3 days of intensive trials, -f- staff selected 6 new players to be in Team France. Welcome to Alloret, Cris, Daylight, Kz, Rocky, Shaqfu in the team, and a big thanks to Teoch for organizing those trials!! <br> <br>Our first friendly for ECTFC7 was played vs Scotland, and ended with a win for Team France. <br> <br>Groups have been drawn and Team France find itself in the same group as Spain, Wales and Sweden! <br> <br>PS: France was not considered this time as a favorite team for unknown reasons (though we were finalist in the previous ECTFC!), so we find ourselves with Sweden in this group. Apparently, with so many french players who stopped playing the game, ECTFC admins decided by themselves who was favorite or not... without informing us. <br>On another hand, to be the outsiders can be an interesting thing and is ok for us :) |

| Team France will have to do his job for what seems to be his last mission, to take part in the 7th Team Fortress Classic European Championship, announced as the last one ! <br>Before everything, the team really needs new players, because many in the previous team stopped the game. | Semi-final: after a double draw on the 2 maps vs Sweden, the -f- succeeded in winning the golden cap map with a great effort, and then ended in final! <br> <br>Final vs Finland : after having draw at the last minute the first map, Team France lost the 2nd map whereas the more difficult job was done :-( <br>Once more, we had victory at hand and we didn't succeed in spite of all our efforts. <br> <br>------ Greetings: ------ <br> <br>A big thanks to all ECTFC admins, referees and other people who helped, and specially to Rebo who did once again an incredible work, to all the Team France players for the quality games they showed us, and particularly to Mick and Lestat who helped me a lot. <br> <br>A big thanks too to all the clans and persons who lent us their server to let the -f- train or play a friendly match: MPK, RvR, r~, X.G.K, Mystic, and mainly to Koubi and Gothi from the Scf2 company (channel #scf2 on quakenet), who lent us one of their servers during 15 days. <br> <br>In conlusion, thanks to all our supporters and to everyone who helped us in any way and that i could have forgotten. | France qualified during the playoff matchs by ending 2nd of the group 3, with equal points with England. <br>Results: 2 wins and 1 draw. <br> <br>In quaterfinals, the -f- won their match face to Holland, by playing really well particularly in offy :) <br> <br>Here is TeamFrance qualified for the 6th time in the semifinas of the ECTFC. Next match will be vs Sweden, the winner of previous European championships, on maps 2kfort4 and Well. |
